Japan’s wholesale inflation indicator, PPI (the PPI is also known as the Corporate Goods Price Index), is expected to have slowed in June from May.

Still, headlines highlighting inflation measures above the Bank’s target, even though the Bank of Japan is not convinced, tend to ignite speculation of nearer-term rate hikes and prvide a tailwind for JPY at the margin.
