- The 5 candidates include Waller, Warsh, Hassett, Bowman and Rieder
- The nomination will be known by January
CNBC is reporting that according to senior Treasury officials, the list for Fed Chair candidates has been narrowed down to 5 following interviews with US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent.

Officials said that the interviews will not be wrapped up until after Thanksgiving. The list will be sent to the President who will make the final decision.
