New York Post says that Elon Musk is no longer working from White House.
Musk’s time working so directly for Trump was always going to be limited so the news shouldn’t be too much of a surprise. The timing was uncertain though. His unpaid special government employee role ends officially in May.
Main points:
- Musk is stepping back from his day-to-day role at the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE)
- is no longer regularly working from the White House
- White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles said communication with Musk remains strong by phone.
- Musk’s team continues to work from the nearby Eisenhower Executive Office Building
