It’s a light agenda ahead for the Asian time zone. Data from South Korea and a fed speaker:
- 7:45 PM ET – Dallas Fed President Lorie Logan gives remarks at World Affairs Council event in San Antonio (2345 GMT)
It’ll be interesting to hear Logan’s views on a potential Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) Fed Funds change. Most Fed officials favour a near term hold with only a couple (Bowman and Waller) backing up Trump’s call for a cut.
I should mention that Bank of England Governor Bailey is speaking at 2000 GMT (1600 US Eastern time). The text of his speech should be published on the Bank of England at that time. I’ll get the headlines up.
