It’s a slower start to proceedings as investors continue the countdown to the Jackson Hole Symposium at the end of the week. Wall Street saw a dip yesterday, led by tech shares but that owes to the Fed minutes. US futures are also rather lackadaisical today, with S&P 500 futures keeping flat. Dow futures are down 0.1% while Nasdaq futures are up 0.1%. We’ll have PMI data from France and Germany coming up next but barring some otherworldly surprise, those aren’t likely to offer all too much to the ECB outlook.
