Forex Short News

Fox News is reporting that there is an imminent threat of a Iranian attack on Al Udeld Air Base in Qatar.

Satellite imagery shows the U.S. pulled almost 40 aircraft from Qatar’s Al Udeid Air Base (its largest Mideast hub) between June 5-19, marking one of the biggest drawdowns there amid the escalating Iran-Israel conflict.

Airspace in Qatar has been shut down.

Axios is also reporting that US is taking action against imminent attacks on US Gulf bases.

The WSJ is reporting:

Iran is moving missile launchers into place for a potential attack on U.S. forces in the Middle East in response to the surprise American strike on three nuclear sites over the weekend, according to U.S. officials.

The Pentagon is tracking a “credible” threat to U.S. military bases in the region, one of the officials said.

Senior Iranian leaders vowed to retaliate on Sunday after U.S. stealth B-2 bombers dropped 14 30,000-pound bunker buster bombs on key nuclear enrichment sites in Iran.

The US stock indices move back into negative territory on the news. The US 10 year moves to new low. The yield is now 4.2945%, -8.1 basis points.
