BOJ’s Uchida says may step in before 10-year yields hit 1%, depending on speed of the move

I think the headline was already implied when they did announce it last week but he is just making it clear. As mentioned then, it’s all about figuring out the BOJ’s appetite and threshold within 0.50% to 1.00% at the moment. It is going to be one that evolves gradually but for now, it doesn’t look like 0.63% is that.
