In April, Citi slashed their forecast for the Chinese economy this year from 4.7% to 4.2%. That before revising that higher in the middle of May back to 4.7%. And now, they’re bumping up that estimate to 5% again. Well, suffice to say that any forecasts and outlook towards China remains very much tied to trade developments for the time being.
