As the EU closes in on a makeshift deal with the US to extend negotiations while holding the baseline 10% tariffs, that’s allowing for European indices to keep a more buoyant mood. US futures are less enthusiastic in following up yesterday’s gains though. S&P 500 futures are down 0.3% after tech shares led gains overnight, with Nvidia’s market cap clipping $4 trillion – the first time a company has ever done that.
