The gains mark a fresh record high for the UK FTSE as equities in the region are continuing to stay in a bullish mood. Suddenly, the gains this week look to be a fever dream after the more sluggish showing on Monday and Tuesday. It shows that trade developments are still the number one driver of market sentiment at the moment. US futures are also keeping steadier, with S&P 500 futures flat while Nasdaq futures are up 0.2%. Tech shares are still mostly leading the charge there with Dow futures are down 0.3% though.
