As the London/European traders head for the exits, US stocks are performing well with the indices near highs for the day.:
- Dow Industrial average up 79 points or 0.17%
- S&P index up 29 points or 0.43%
- NASDAQ index up 170 points or 0.75%
- Russell 2000 +21.64 points or 0.88%
Yields in the US are higher:
- 2 year 3.475%, +3.2 basis points
- 5 year yield 3.598%, +4.6 basis points
- 10 year yield 3.999%, +4 .6 basis points
- 30 year yield 4.585%, +4.6 basis points
Gold is rebounding after 2 days of sharp declines. The price is currently up $41 or 1.02% at $4139.60 (see post from earlier today for the technical levels in play). Overhead resistance comes at the near converged 100 and 200 hour moving averages just below the $4200 level.
Silver is up $0.63 or 1.3% at $49.07.
Bitcoin is also stating a rally today with a gain of $2200 or 2.07% at $109,826
