Fed’s Jefferson doesn’t comment on monetary policy or his economic outlook

Philip Jefferson is Vice Chair of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System.

He is giving closing remarks at the Federal Reserve Division of Research and Statistics Centennial Conference.

Jefferson did say that

  • High uncertainty could justify an aggressive policy response if
    inflation expectations threatened to become unanchored
