NVIDIA is set to restart sales of its H20 graphics processing units (GPUs) to China, using a revised chip design that complies fully with current U.S. export regulations, according to sources familiar with the matter.
CEO Jensen Huang recently met with President Trump and other U.S. policymakers to reaffirm the company’s support for the administration’s domestic job-creation agenda. As part of the discussions, the U.S. government reportedly assured NVIDIA that it would approve the necessary export licenses.
With regulatory clearance expected shortly, deliveries of the updated H20 GPUs to China could begin soon.
