Hopefully Iran will quickly “Come to the Table” and negotiate a fair and equitable deal – NO NUCLEAR WEAPONS – one that is good for all parties. Time is running out, it is truly of the essence! As I told Iran once before, MAKE A DEAL! They didn’t, and there was “Operation Midnight Hammer,” a major destruction of Iran. The next attack will be far worse! Don’t make that happen again. Thank you for your attention to this matter! President DONALD J. TRUMP”
There’s more urgency to this message but it remains to be seen how much force is he willing to exert to try and force something here. For some context, it was already reported last week that the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln and several guided-missile destroyers will arrive in the Middle East this week.
While Trump continues to draw a hard line and flaunting the “armada” that will be headed to Iran, he did say that “maybe we won’t have to use it” last week. However, his latest message here sounds a bit more threatening as he touts to get the job done “with speed and violence, if necessary”.
If anything, it just reaffirms as well that geopolitical tensions and the erratic and chaotic approach by the US administration towards international affairs is still very much in play to start the new year. Good stuff. But I guess not if you’re a fan of the US dollar.
