Trump on China:
- On the deadline (expiring on August 12), we’ll see what happens with the deadline
- They (China) have been dealing nicely.
- Says he has a very good relationship with Chinese Pres. Xi.
So far there has been no formal announcement about whether he will endorse an extension or push ahead with the higher tariffs.
On meeting with Putin:
- It is a feeling out meeting
- I’m going to tell him to end the war.
- Think will have constructive conversation.
- Next meeting will be with Zelenskiy, or with Putin and Zelenskiy.
- There will be some swapping, changes in land.
- Will see the parameters, may leave and say good luck.
- Will also call European leaders after meeting
- I would like to see a cease-fire.
- Says that Zelenskiy can go to the meeting.(that is something new)
- He can see increased trade with Russia following a Ukraine deal.
- Think it will be good but it migh be bad.
- Ultimately I will put Zelenskiy and Putin in a room, and I think there will be a deal.
On Nvidia:
- Nvidia is selling an old chip that essentially Huawai has.
- I released them from the H20
- On the Blackwell, will be an unenhanced version of that chip
- There may be another meeting.
