Bank of England’s Andrew Hauser appointed as Deputy Governor of Reserve Bank of Australia

The new Deputy Governor of the Reserve Bank of Australia has been appointed, Andrew Hauser.

  • will depart his role as the Bank of England head of markets
  • Hauser is expected to begin at the Bank prior to the RBA meeting of 2024 (that meeting is on February 5 and 6)

The RBA’s previous Deputy Governor was Michele Bullock, who got a better gig as Governor of the Bank.
