Fed Governor Christopher Waller drew a good gig as he is speaking at a conference in the Bahamas today. The topic of his speech is “The Dollar’s International Role” and a conference on “Climate, Currency and Central Banking”.
The risk is that he turns incrementally more hawkish after CPI but I suspect the market is expecting he will dismiss it similar to the leaked comments from Powell on Tuesday afternoon.
